who we are
Unified Maintenance and Construction is a commercial contractor specializing in quick service restaurant construction, franchise renovations, retail build-outs, and commercial interior projects. We work with franchise owners, developers, brand teams, and construction managers who need reliable execution, clear communication, and accountability from pre-construction through closeout.
OUR STORY
Founded in 2008, Unified Maintenance and Construction began as two people in a van providing facility maintenance and construction services. Through steady growth, hands-on experience, and a commitment to doing the work the right way, the company has grown into a trusted commercial contractor serving major restaurant and retail clients, including Fortune 500 brands. That growth has been built on long-term relationships, field accountability, and consistent execution in demanding commercial environments.
Why This Experience matters
Quick service restaurant construction requires a different level of expertise than a standard commercial build-out. The inspection path is more involved, the systems are more specialized, and the margin for error is smaller. These projects require close coordination between kitchen equipment, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, electrical service, finishes, and opening-day readiness. Unified Maintenance and Construction understands how to manage the details that affect whether a space passes inspection, operates properly, and opens on schedule.
What Sets Unified Maintenance and Construction Apart
What sets Unified Maintenance and Construction apart is the practical support we provide around the construction process itself. With more than 20,000 square feet of warehouse space, clients can ship custom materials to us in advance of a project. This allows us to organize materials ahead of time, protect long-lead items, reduce job site congestion, and help maintain tighter construction schedules during active construction.
Our team also works projects through closeout and supports the process up to certificate of occupancy, so clients are not left chasing final details on their own. That follow-through helps reduce delays at the finish line and keeps openings, handoffs, and occupancy milestones moving forward.
Why clients return
The majority of Unified Maintenance and Construction’s work comes from repeat customers. Clients such as Starbucks, Applegreen, and Circle K continue to call on us for additional renovations and ongoing construction needs because they trust our work, value our responsiveness, and appreciate working with a team that already understands their standards, sites, and expectations.
Because we know the types of mechanical and operational issues that can arise over time, we build with long-term performance in mind. Our goal is not just to complete the project, but to help prevent avoidable failures and reduce future facility maintenance needs wherever possible.
We believe that level of repeat business speaks for itself. It reflects long-term relationships, consistent execution, and a commitment to supporting clients well beyond the initial project.
how we work
From pre-construction planning through project completion, Unified Maintenance and Construction focuses on organization, schedule awareness, communication, and quality execution. We coordinate closely with clients, municipalities, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to keep projects moving and reduce avoidable delays.
For franchise owners, developers, and construction managers, that means a contractor who understands the realities of active schedules, branded standards, inspections, and opening deadlines.
Unified Maintenance and Construction combines hands-on field experience with the systems and support needed to execute commercial projects efficiently. For clients looking for a contractor who understands the demands of quick service restaurant, retail, and branded construction environments, the company offers a practical, experienced approach built around follow-through and long-term relationships.
